I had a Research-Semester in Berkeley, California.
There I found two friends, CLIFF STOLL + NANCY ( now my wife ), directing my future:
Cliff infected me with the "VIRUS CALCULATIS" ...
He was known as author of the '90s world bestseller » THE CUCKOO's EGG «
(= Tracking a Spy Through the Maze of Computer Espionage )
In 2005 Cliff decided to write an article for SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN about SLIDE RULES
and asked me and Nancy to design a
PAPER SLIDE RULE
to be included in the article ...
