This mechanical clock runs 8 days with full wind-up.  The RED DOT
indicates "It's time to wind-up!"             See DETAIL-Picture:      
On WIND-UP the RED-SPOT turns left ... and the HOLE looks silver.
On RUNNING the HOLE turns left too... until showing the RED MARK.

the early developments in watch-making in the USA.  ELGIN  was an
early spin-off from Waltham.
