QUELLE  WORLD-TIME-CLOCK  REPAIR
(1st)  MOTOR  in  2008

View into the open World Clock:
The MOTOR was diagnosed as defect ...

... Left the ESCAPEMENT - right the TIMER;

View at the TIMER-CONTACTS ...

The disassembled motor
(after cleaning the soot-blackened parts)
shows the burned away lower contact pair ...

... The REPLACEMENT is made of bronze and soldered in ...

... Now assembled, the WORLD CLOCK is working again - WOW! ...

... BUT:
(2nd) TIMER-GEAR BROKEN  in  2022



... NOW WHAT ??? SAME DEFECT found in 2nd QUELLE WORLD CLOCK !!!

a "2D"-BRASS-GEAR (left) ... to glue-in the "CENTRAL-GEAR" (= right)





R E M A R K S :   The BLUE PLASTIC RING defines the "Down-Position".
ONE SPOKE had to be removed, to "give way" for the SPRING's ROD:
Necessary for CONTACT-SYNCHRONIZATION a 270° SHEET-SEGMENT was added.



YAHOOO !!! The QUELLE World-Time-Clock is working again !!!

Back to the QUELLE WORLD CLOCK ...
