 o  The print on the cover reads:   »  G.GERLACH / WARSZAWA  «
 o  The KNOB under this print is not the original one.  Connected with the
    "Input-Clear-Barrier" it functions as a "REVERSE-LOCK-RELEASE" ...

 o  The machine came worn out. One reason for its blocking tendency was,
    that the "SHIFT-LOCK-COMB" (on the left back side of the carriage) was
    locking. Disassembling the carriage, filing the posts and counter-
    gaps and shorten its reset spring solved this problem.
 o  RUBBER FEET were crumbling; new ones were made out of TUB STOPPERS.
    ( 4 BIG WASHERS were glued on the 4 posts to get good support. )
 o  All FIGURES needed special care ...

(!) REMOVING THE CARRIAGE IS EASY: 
    (a) Reset all registers.
    (b) Remove the central lock-block from the bottom of the calculator
        ( It is the BROWN CIRCULAR PIECE in the "Details Picture" ).
    (c) Shift the carrier to the (right) side.
