How to make the USB-A working with the "Special" MAC-Standard ??? (a) Charging only - OR ... (b) CHARGING & LISTENING MUSIC at the same time ... !!! The "TRICK" is to provide USB-A Pins (2)=(3) = 2.5 Volt !!! ======== ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The FUSE (=Si= 0.8 A ) is in the BAKELITE-PIPE between 2xLi-Ion BATTERIES CHARGING the 2xLi-Ion Cells: START = U = 8.4 V / I = 500 mA (limited) ... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- R E M A R K : I had the same problem in the '90s with limited power on long-distance travels with my SONY »DiskMan« - I build a POWER-EXTENDER to CLIP ON MY BELT (w. 3xNiCd-Cells ) - NOW I RECYCLE THE OLD UNIT into a (2xLi-Ion) EXTENDER with my old IC = LM-309K = +5 Volt Stabilizer ...
