To make it work in your application, YOU MAY NEED A "PULSE-TO-TONE-CONVERTER"... R E M A R K S T O R E S T O R A T I O N ... ====================================================================== This famous bakelite telephone is nicknamed " R E D B A R ". The orig. build-in ringer was replaced by a newer & smaller version. The cables of handset & line connections were detoriorated, needed refurbishing: As described in AE-40 there is a PROBLEM with soldering the wires. ANOTHER SOLUTION: After exposing the copper-wires, I wrapped a piece of aluminum foil around the existing insulation, bent the wires back and wrapped the foil around. Than I pressed it in the OLD, UNFOLDED & CLEANED metal hook connector to have the electric contact ... R E M A R K A B L E : The NETWORK is wired by pre-formed metal stripes. The DIALER, mounted in the cover, is connected with the Network on the base by a PLUG - So the CONDENSORS - No flying wires !!!
