   Works well today too - especially when the power is off  ...

The early Model »300« was the 1st  BELL  Telephone with a  build-in
ringer, and it was made with a  metal cover.  The »302« series came
first with black (thermo-)plastic, later also in  different colors.
The WE-302 is considered to be the "CLASSIC" used in the '30s/'40s.
Henry Dreyfuss (1904-1972), a celebrated industrial designer, gave
the 302, 500, PRINCESS & TRIMLINE their style - He also designed
JohnDeere tractors, Hoover vacuum cleaners, and streamlined trains.

The LETTERS ON THE DIALER are for  MEMORIZING TELEPHONE NUMBERS ...

This vintage ROTARY TELEPHONE use "PULSE-DIALING".  To make it work
in your application, YOU MAY NEED A  "PULSE-TO-TONE-CONVERTER"...
