GOSSEN was founded 1919 by Paul Gossen in Baiersdorf and became well known
for their precision measurement instruments for PHOTO- & ELECTRO technics.
After WWII (1948) the GOSSEN »TIPPA« was launched and became a successful
GERMAN PORTABLE because their small and light-weight design. In 1956 ADLER
bought the rights and produced it under ADLER »TIPPA« - and later, after
fusion with TRIUMPH - also under TRIUMPH »TIPPA«. In 1963 the GOSSEN & Co.
