HISTORICAL REMARKS:

The company  »KUKA« ( = Keller & Knappich in Augsburg ) was founded in
1898 in Augsburg, Germany. In 1905 the production of welding equipment
for the metal industry began.  After WWII components for public trans-
portation vehicles and portable typewriters were made. This nice, flat
» PRINCESS-300 «  was one of the most functional portables available.
It was my typewriter, starting as a student of the TU-Berlin in 1963.
Today  »KUKA«  is world-leader in PC-controlled industry robots.
