H O W   T O   R E M O V E   T H E   C A R R I A G E
***************************************************
Remove the 4 screws in the center of the feet
Remove the bottom-plate
For clearance replace the 4 screws in its positions
Remove the carriage-lock (A); put the machine upright
Remove the top by removing its 4 screws
Remove the 4 screws of the carriage's front-cover
Pull out left side-plate
Remove the right and left back-plates of the carriage
Pull the right clear-lever to lift the left gear (B)
+ Push the front knob
+ Pull the carriage to the right
+ Push the "obstacle" (C) out of the way
... until the carriage is out
Remove the right side-plate of the carriage
Now the front-cover can be removed
with a TRICKY MANEUVER over the back-transfer-lever
Now the front-barrier can be removed if neccessary
All inner parts are accessible for cleaning + oiling now

HOW TO BRING THE CARRIAGE BACK IN PLACE
***************************************
Do it in  R E V E R S E   O R D E R ,  B U T  "TRICKY":

Make sure that the gap (D) of the gear-block is in the right place ...

   

Pull the right clear-lever to lift the left gear (B)
Slide-in the carriage from the right side
Push the front knob
1st "Stop" in the middle needs a push-down on plate (E)
2nd "Stop" near the end needs a push on the "obstacle" (C)
Make sure, that the gears (D) are free for sliding-in
... until the carriage is in place
Replace the carriage-lock (A)
