This clock runs 8 days with full ( MOVEMENT ) wind-up and has a 2nd
winding for its (12 hour) ALARM-Clock on the back side.  When wind-
up, the Alarm-Stop-Button pops out (= ready). The front shows Time,
Day, Date  & Moon-Phase  of the actual Date (2013), see picture ...

            30th APRIL to 1st MAY   &   31st MAY to JUNE

QUESTION: " Do I have to set the MONTH and skip the "31" by hand ?"

From the CLOCK SHOP »LORENZ« in Berlin-Friedenau, I got the ANSWER:
" YES - The MONTH is not gear-driven - it has to be set MANUALLY !"
