Ivrea / Italy 1970 HOW TO USE the OLIVETTI » SUMMA PRIMA 20 « ********************************************* ENTER A NUMBER: --------------- The actual number of digits entered shows on the window beside the keyboard. If wrong digits are entered, push the black spherical lever to clear the keyboard. ADDITION: --------- Everytime a number is entered and the handle is pulled, the number is printed and added to memory. REPEAT: ------- To enter the same number more than once, push the switch [X] before pulling the handle. The keyboard will not be cleared after releasing the handle. To release [X]: Pull the switch before the next cycle. SUBTRACTION: ------------ Enter the number; set the "joystick" to [-] before pulling the handle. Entering more negative numbers, push the right lever down to lock [-]. NON-ADD: -------- Enter the item number; set the "joystick" to [<] before pulling the handle. This item number is printed, but it is not part of the addition/subtraction cycle. SUBTOTAL ( printed in RED ): ---------------------------- The cumulated sum will be printed when the "joystick" is set to [◊] before pulling the handle. The memory will hold the actual sum. TOTAL ( printed in RED ): ------------------------- The total sum will be printed when the "joystick" is set to [*] before pulling the handle. Memory will be cleared after releasing the handle. (5) PULL the COVER from its BACK SIDE and SHIFT it to the FRONT (6) REMOVE the COVER (7) PULL the CHASSIS out of its RUBBER HOLDERS (8) Now there is ACCESS from all sides ...
