Invented by Reverend Robert Stirling of Scotland in 1816, this "Hot-Air"
engine converts temperatur-difference (= thermal energy) into mechanical
force. Heat from a burner is applied to the end of the glass cylinder.
The air in the cylinder is permanently sealed inside the engine. Heated
and cooled caused it to expand and contract, thus driving the piston.
The 1st heated cylinder (= "Transfer C.") has a connection to the 2nd
cylinder (= "Power C."). Geared levers synchronize the cycle of air from
HEAT AREA (= burner flame / = AIR-EXTENTION ) to COOL AREA (= aluminum /
= AIR-CONTRACTION) and back ...
