B A C K G R O U N D :    The BATTERY of the new  »iPod-Nano«  ( in 2010 )
lasted  ~ 24 hours of listening before re-charging.  Now, after 10 years
later, only 5 hour listening-time - OhOh! - APPLE is not willing or able
to exchange the BUILD-IN BATTERY ... NOW THIS PROJECT SOLVE THE PROBLEM !

R E M A R K :   With a "NORMAL-USB-A" is an »iPod-Nano« NOT TO CHARGE !!!

??? How to make the USB-A working with the "Special" MAC-Standard ???
         (a) Charging only - OR ...
         (b) CHARGING & LISTENING MUSIC  at the same time ...

   !!!  The "TRICK" is to provide USB-A Pins  (2)=(3) = 2.5 Volt  !!!

The FUSE (=Si= 0.8 A ) is in the BAKELITE-PIPE between 2xLi-Ion BATTERIES
CHARGING the 2xLi-Ion Cells: START = U = 8.4 V / I = 500 mA (limited) ...

R E M A R K :   I had the same problem in the '90s  with limited power on
long-distance travels with my SONY »DiskMan«  -  I build a POWER-EXTENDER
to CLIP ON MY BELT (w. 3xNiCd-Cells ) - NOW I RECYCLE THE OLD UNIT into a
(2xLi-Ion) EXTENDER with my old IC = LM-309K = +5 Volt Stabilizer ...
