ADDITION:
=========
Everytime a number is entered and the handle is pulled, the number
is printed and added to memory.

RESET KEYBOARD:
---------------
If a wrong figure is entered in a column, repeat with the right
figure. To clear the keyboard: Push or pull the top-right gray
[T/S] toggle-switch.

REPEAT:
-------
To enter the same number more than once, set the top-left gray
switch to [R] before pulling the handle. The keyboard will not be
cleared after releasing the handle.

SUBTOTAL:
---------
The cumulated sum will be printed when the top-right gray switch
is held at [S] before pulling the handle. The memory will hold the
actual sum after releasing the handle.

TOTAL:
------
The total sum will be printed when the top-right gray switch is
held at [T] before pulling the handle. The memory will be cleared
after releasing the handle.

SUBTRACTION:
============
Addition is the only operation directly performed on the machine.
For subtraction an indirect method of addition is necessary!

The "9-Complement" Methode:

           KEY-Figures  =   1   2   3   4   5   6   7   8   9
       "9-Complements"  =   8   7   6   5   4   3   2   1   0

Entering the SUBTRAHEND requires 2 steps:
----------------------------------------------------
(A) Enter the SUBTRAHEND MINUS 1 use the "9-Complements"
(B) PRESS ALL 9-KEYS LEFT OF THE SUBTRAHEND

PRINTOUT-Example    876 - 543  =  333    with Comments:

|   99999457    |   Enter  - 543  < 543 - 1  in "9-Complements" >,
|               |                  Pull handle
|  100000333 T  |   Set [T] to print total sum, Pull handle

R E M A R K S :  How to get a  NEW RIBBON  for this old machine ???
===================================================================
There are cartridges for MATRIX-Printers on the market with 8 mm
NYLON-Ribbons. Check the cartridge before buying because there are
several available with different lengths. In some cases you can
get 3 spools out of one cartridge! You will get your fingers
dirty when you do the respooling - but the result is great!
And remember: BOTH SIDES HAVE TO BE SPOOLED CLOCKWISE ...
