The FUNCTIONS of the LEVERS ( named a, b, c, d, e ) are ...
LEVERS : a b c d e
========================================================
up | Total | NonAdd | Subract | Repeat | NoPrint
. | . .
down | Subtotal | . | Add | . | Print
========================================================
Init : middle | down | down | down | down
ADDITION:
---------
Everytime a number is entered and the handle is pulled, the
number is printed and added to the content of the memory.
RESET KEYBOARD:
---------------
If a wrong figure is entered in a column, repeat with the
right figure. To clear the keyboard push the green button (C).
REPEAT:
-------
To enter the same number more than once, set lever [d] = up
before pulling the handle. The keyboard will not be cleared
after releasing the handle.
SUBTRACTION:
------------
To enter a negative number, set lever [c] = up before pulling
the handle. ( It is possible to repeat negative numbers. )
S SUBTOTAL:
-----------
The cumulated sum will be printed when lever [a] = down
before pulling the handle. The memory will hold the actual
sum after releasing the handle.
* TOTAL:
--------
The total sum will be printed when lever [a] = up before
pulling the handle. The memory will be cleared after releasing
the handle.
# ID-NUMBERS:
-------------
An ID-Number can be entered when lever [b] = up (# NonAdd).
This input is not registered in the memory.
NO-PRINT:
---------
Because the calculator has a display, showing the actual
content of the memory, it is possible to use the machine
without printing by setting lever [e] = up.

R E M A R K S T O R E S T O R A T I O N :
=============================================
The calculator came with blocked keys & levers and a non-functional
handle. Because the case can only be lifted when levers [a] & [b]
are to move in the middle, lever [b] had to be bent to fit through
the slot. It should never bent back to made maintenance accessible.
To open the cover: Remove (1st) the ribbon cover, (2nd) the printing
unit, (3rd) the four screws holding the cover. The ClrKbd(C) button
mechanic is connected with the cover!
