On the occasion of the 32nd International Geographical Conference in Cologne 2012 we would like to invite you to a pre-conference on medical geography to Berlin. The scientific programme is entitled:

The Geography of Health: The Challenges of Environmental and Societal Issues in the 21st Century

Global change is affecting all human and natural systems. The changes can intensively impact individual health, health behaviour, health care systems, and population and public health.

We would like to encourage your participation in this pre-conference so that we may collaboratively explore and analyse the geographical patterns and perspectives of change and continuity for human health under the unsettled conditions of the world in the 21st century.

The registratrion and submission of abstracts will start probably on September 1, 2011.
