During my third excursion with the TFH to Venice I maintained my previous
watercolor technique despite my initial intention of painting in some other
"manner." Nevertheless, I managed "Canale Grande"and "Rio della Pieta",
which represent another direction. The worn facades of the buildings on
the canals fascinated me with their diverse earth tones as in Venice4.
