Model WE-302
Works well today too - especially when the power is off ...
The early Model »300« was the 1st BELL Telephone with a build-in
ringer, and it was made with a metal cover. The »302« series came
first with black (thermo-)plastic, later also in different colors.
The WE-302 is considered to be the "CLASSIC" used in the '30s/'40s.
Henry Dreyfuss (1904-1972), a celebrated industrial designer, gave
the 302, 500, PRINCESS & TRIMLINE their style - He also designed
JohnDeere tractors, Hoover vacuum cleaners, and streamlined trains.
The LETTERS ON THE DIALER are for MEMORIZING TELEPHONE NUMBERS ...
