OPEN  FOR  REPAIR  &  MAINTENANCE

H O W   T O   R E M O V E   T H E   C O V E R S
***********************************************
Pull-out the right knob under the carriage
Remove the 8 screws on the bottom
Remove the 2 screws, remove the front cover
Remove the 4 screws, remove the rear cover
Now both side covers can be removed ...

... If neccessary:
Move the carriage to the right by motor power
Remove the 10s-Carry Extension-Cover
  ( The 2 longer screws & "pipes" on front !)

R E M O V E   T H E   B O T T O M
*********************************
Remove the 4 screws in the center of the shock absorbers
Remove the bottom-plate
For clearance replace the 4 screws in its positions


H O W   T O   R E M O V E   T H E   C A R R I A G E
***************************************************
( If neccessary )

Screw out both left red clear-controls
Remove the right red "C" control cap
Remove the 3 upper front screws, remove the cover
Remove the 2 HALFS (!) of the AXLE:
   Remove the right & left "locks" of the axle
   Pull-out the RIGHT (= longer!) & LEFT (= shorter) HALF
Remove the KEYBOARD-FRAME:
   Remove the 4 screws and the 2 red caps
   Remove the frame
Now there is access to the 2 carriage HOLDERS:
   Push both holders up and lift the carriage up
   ATTENTION to the left side: There is a "fork" to replace!

SORRY, IT WAS BAD DESIGNED...

(1st) It is not possible to TEST the MONROEmatic CAA manually !

HOW TO BUILD A TOOL TO TEST THE  » CAA «  MANUALLY ...

(2nd) It is not possible to take out the Motor-Block IN TOTAL !
===============================================================

Rear of the plug:
   Open the 2 screws to pull out the power cables
Remove the 3 PARTS "hiding" the motor ( see picture !)
Remove the 4 screws of the MOTOR-BASE ( not to lift !)
Remove the 4 motor screws:
   NOW the MOTOR is free and the MOTOR-BASE is free too
Remove motor & base
   ASSEMBLE MOTOR ON BASE AGAIN ( incl. capacitor, ...)
Connect TEST-CABLES
...
